Recently, PUYA Semiconductor has launched an innovative P24C series of highly reliable EEPROM products. In response to downstream customers and market demand, the company's new series of products can achieve a lifespan of 10 million erasures. It is a superior product developed by the company for the electricity meter market, achieving the current industry-leading erasure count.


The P24C series products are based on processes of 95nm and below, with characteristics such as low power consumption, ultra wide voltage coverage, and high reliability. They meet the high reliability requirements of 10 million erasures and 100 years of data storage. The product performance has reached the leading level in the industry and can be used in the field of electric meters and other high reliability products.

EEPROM is a general-purpose non-volatile storage chip, widely used for storing small-scale and frequently modified data due to its low power consumption, high flexibility, and strong reliability. It is applied in downstream fields such as smartphones, servers, PCs, BLE/WIFI modules, automotive electronics, panels, home appliances, and industrial control.


PUYA Semiconductor has been deeply involved in the EEPROM field for nearly a decade. In 2014, the predecessor of the company, Wuxi Puya Semiconductor, completed the research and development and chip fabrication of the first 256Kbit and 512Kbit EEPROM. In 2021, the company's vehicle grade EEPROM obtained AEC-Q100 certification and entered well-known car factories at home and abroad. As of now, the company's EEPROM products have achieved full capacity coverage of 2Kbit-4Mbit, operating voltage coverage of 1.2V-5.5V, and support traditional packaging forms such as SOP/TSSOP/DFN and chip level packaging forms such as WLCSP, which can meet the capacity and packaging needs of different application fields.


The company has formed a relatively complete series of product layouts in the EEPROM field, and continues to achieve technological iteration in process and storage unit dimensions, improving product cost-effectiveness and market competitiveness.


In terms of process technology, the company continues to transform and optimize the structure and erase voltage of storage units, continuously reducing the size of storage units without sacrificing reliability indicators. Single chips have higher cost-effectiveness. The company has iterated from the first generation of 130nm products to the new generation of 95nm and below products, and achieved mass production in 2020.


In terms of product functions, PUYA Semiconductor has implemented functions such as regional protection and address programming, which can protect the stored parameter data in the chip, avoid data loss and tampering, and maintain data for more than 100 years.


The company has a large capacity EEPROM series product that supports SPI/I ² C interface and maximum 4Mbit capacity, with 2Mbit products being used in bulk for high-speed broadband communication and data centers. At the same time, the company's ultra-low voltage 1.2V series EEPROM has achieved mass production and shipment, covering 32Kbit to 512Kbit. It is currently a leading ultra-low voltage product line in the industry with advanced technology nodes and relatively complete capacity coverage.


Compared to the previous generation's 5 million erasure product, the new product launched by PUYA Semiconductor can be updated and modified more flexibly, while also having a longer service life, which to some extent reflects the company's continuous breakthroughs in technology and design level.


In the future, the company will focus on developing new process nodes, wide voltage coverage, high speed, and high reliability in the field of non-volatile memory. The company will continue to expand its focus on high reliability industrial control and vehicle regulations, further expanding its system level memory product line, and continuously gaining breakthroughs and leading advantages.
